On 26, 27 and 28 April, 69 exhibitors, nine more than last year, will take part in the 29th edition of Proposte at Villa Erba. Four of the nine are newcomers, while other important companies decided to return to Cernobbio after a period of absence.
It is interesting to note that the presence of international exhibitors is considerable. For example, there are no fewer than 40 foreign participants. New international and local names at Proposte include Steiner 1888 from Austria, G.M. Fabrics from India and the Italian companies Giò Emi and Tendaggi Paradiso.
“The field of participants proves that Proposte is an important appointment for the producers of high-end textiles and textile shades in the world market,” states president Piercarlo Viganò on behalf of the organisation. “After two years of a pandemic, the world has not yet returned to the way it was before and the Russian-Ukrainian war is also raising concerns. Nevertheless, a certain normality seems to be returning to our sector. In any case, business is more a part of our daily lives again.”
Special projects
Proposte developed several special projects to increase the visibility of the collections presented by the exhibitors. It is worth mentioning that this year there will also be an exhibitor’s forum in the central hall. This will give visitors a brief overview of the products on display at the stands. The Proposte marketplace will also be accessible via the following link: fierasmart365.propostefair.it. The aim of this initiative is to provide Proposte exhibitors with a virtual experience that extends the physical trade fair into the digital platform.
