Collectible, an international fair for 21st century ‘collectible design’, announces its fifth edition. It will take place from 20 to 22 May 2022 at the Vanderborght Building in Brussels. Collectible wants to show the best in the field of unique objects that balance between design and art. It will only be about objects that were made in a very limited edition this century.

With a strong emphasis on experimental practices and radical statements in design, Collectible has grown since its inception in 2018 into a platform for showing and discovering the best in contemporary collectible design. Those looking to push the boundaries of creativity will find themselves here thanks to a refined selection of established and emerging galleries, design studios and renowned publishers, brought together by a distinguished network of committee members and creative figures who span the global design and creation sector.Collectible invites participants to present works that have never been shown before. These may be unique pieces, bespoke commissions or limited editions.

New: The Editors

To mark its fifth anniversary, the fair launches The Editors, a new section dedicated to pioneering and niche design labels. In addition, this year the ‘Curated’ section features Escapism. Escapism was conceived by Rotterdam collector and curator Berry Dijkstra. It is accompanied by Tension, last year’s Curated section. Now, after the pandemic, it can be seen for the first time with new additions.
